Was a good price but if you can't use it what's good about it? I saw the reviews but thought I could make it work. I have had aquariums all my life and I have a lot of experience with all things freshwater aquarium products. I always soaked my hoses with hot water before putting them on pumps or air stones, but these hoses still had to be pulled over a screwdriver after being heated in hot water and it still felt that way like breaking the plastic outlet on the pump to try to get it fully seated so only a tiny part of the tube is on top of the outlet tube. Breaking pumps or air rocks to save money.
