Too bad, really. I bought this helmet and broke it IMMEDIATELY. But what I can say for sure is that this helmet does its job very well. It was quite a hard fall due to a miscalculation on my part as I jumped off before my foot was back on the pedal of my mountain bike. It literally had me digging my nose into the ground. My head hit the ground so violently that I saw flashes of light, but never lost consciousness. In fact, despite the fact that there was a big dent on my helmet, I felt great. Not even a headache. It is not only excellent anti-collision, but also very comfortable. I was initially disappointed because the pads rubbed my ears quite a bit when putting the helmet on and taking it off. But after wearing it for a walk, I got used to the helmet pretty quickly. As for replacement after an accident, I followed the instructions on Troy Lee's website. You don't get a "replacement" but a discount on a new helmet. In my case I got 30% off my next one which is better than nothing. You can bet your last dollar I bought another one right away. I broke this helmet 2 days after becoming my owner. It was worth every penny.
