It would be nice if your cup had a flat bottom. Unfortunately none for me. I know the description recommends a flat-bottomed mug, but that needs to be emphasized. At the highest level, the coffee only stays warm, which I think is better than cold. I was able to stick some aluminum foil on the curve of the mug and that helped. It would be better to have something that transfers heat but also forms the bottom of the cup. Maybe something like a bean bag that transfers heat.
