I like the quick release that is on the back of the holder. This makes it very easy to remove the phone from the holder. I don't drive anymore because I'm paralyzed, but I use a lap table when I'm in a wheelchair and have decided to put a phone holder in there. Please see the image I have provided. I have a Samsung Note 10+ phone and even with my phone case and popsocket on the back of the phone case, this car mount still works amazingly well. I'm not worried about my phone sliding off my desk onto my lap on the floor now.
