I previously bought a Pinemeadow hybrid for a starter set to get back into golf after a ten year hiatus. The racquet was well made and held up while I abused it to get my backswing back. With that in mind, I wanted to complete my new intermediate set with a chopper. I looked at all the different styles and brands but ended up going back to Pinemeadow based on my previous experiences. It was also the best price, so it was even better. It took me about 45 minutes to get the feel for it and found it to be very durable and well made. It's hard and it doesn't take long to move the ball. I also had to hold back when putting, otherwise the ball would roll past the hole. I used it for a nine hole test round in the evening and found that it really improved my game on the green. As long as I correctly judged the distance and speed of the swing, I would place the ball 2 to 10 feet from the hole every time. As I get more confident with the stick I'll try to continue, but I'm sure the stick will take more hits. Just a note: I used it once from sand just to test it. Place it about 3 feet from the hole. Pure luck, but it was fun.
