This is a great product for hanging different types of bikes that you need to access regularly. It works well on everything from road bikes to downhill mountain bikes. I've tried other systems in the past but usually the hooks detach from the wall, bend and the rubber cover comes off which can damage the rims. I've had them for many years and they look almost new. Combined with the railing you can have a nice solid platform that adjusts to the width each bike needs. If you don't plan to adjust the width, you can screw a screw into the bottom to prevent the hooks from moving along the rail. I typically mount one rack 12-16 inches higher than the other, which allows me to store two rows of bikes with minimal additional space. Although the larger bikes are a bit harder to get hold of, they are still very affordable.
