Review on Brita Tap Water Filter Replacement, Faucet Water Filtration System Filters, Lead Reduction, BPA Free – White, 1 Count by Irena Williams

We bought this because we have friends who use the same type of filter and it seemed like a good compromise. Worked well initially but never caught the faucet and wobbled a bit. I knew not to overtighten because of the plastic threads leading me to think the faucet interface should be all brass. After a few months and a few filter changes, where the filter sits started leaking and we had to throw it away. Most likely a defective unit, but I won't risk buying another one. YMMV.
