My opinion is that the previous and next buttons for the thumb are unnecessary, and I even questioned whether or not it was worthwhile to purchase a model that included them. It has come to my attention that using Ubuntu 20.04 in Bluetooth mode renders these buttons inoperable, which is something that has made me very happy. (They continue to function when connected via USB.) Many advantages: The size of the mouse is just right for my hand; it's neither too big nor too small. The clicks and the wheel work without a hitch. Having this drawback: On my laptop, the Bluetooth mode of the mouse cannot be used at the same time as a Bluetooth headset. This makes it impossible to use both at the same time. This issue was not present in prior iterations of the Microsoft Sculpt mouse. That was successful when tested on a different laptop.
