Been looking at this for a few days at a really great open box price but recently bought a Polk S35 open box center which sounds good on my system and goes very well with my TV In terms of price, even an open CS9060 can't keep up, which is why I didn't pull the trigger at first. However, over time I decided that the price difference wouldn't be significant if the CS9060 could improve the overall sound quality of my system. So I took the plunge and listened to the CS9060 as my new center channel added a much better tonal balance with deeper bass effect that complemented my main Definitive Tech BP9040 speakers. They really let the system shine by reproducing the full spectrum of center channel sound, which even my larger main speakers don't (because they're not picking up the same signal as my subwoofer), while still retaining the natural timbre of the voice.
