As another reviewer noted, the hose nozzle didn't 'snap' into the canister like Dyson branded devices, it stayed in place, didn't come loose or move. I owe my 3-star rating to the red fabric at the end of the mattress tool. It's a nice fabric and feels quite soft compared to another upholstery nozzle I bought for another vacuum. However, if you've ever used those red fabric brushes, you know that brushing in one direction picks up lint from the fabric, while scrubbing in the other side removes the lint from the brush. You can't move this tool back and forth because you're taking the stack off one side only to reattach it on the other side, so having two strips, one on top and one on the bottom, would be great. different directions. Also, this tool had a red cloth on it, so I had to push the tool forward to pick up the stack; I personally would prefer the cloth to be worn in a way that removes lint when I retract the tool.
