No pendant lasts forever

The bag is a surprisingly rough place. If you're confident that the circuit board is ok - and you're dreading plugging a new key fob into an old car, then this is the way to go. Don't forget to clean the pads while it's open. Wipe clean with isopropyl alcohol. Gently go over the pads with a soft eraser. With the same success, you can purchase a new battery. If you have a digital voltmeter (DVM), check the voltage. and keychains. There have always been problems with intermittent response. With new shells they work constantly.
