Review on πŸ„ Upgrade Your Watersports Experience with the O'Neill Men's Reactor II 3/2mm Back Zip Full Wetsuit by Christopher Isaac

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I can't wait to try on this new O'Neill 3M/2M suit. Fits perfectly!

Fits perfectly. The leash to the zipper is the perfect length. Cuffs on sleeves and ankles feel very small when water gets in. I already felt like my body was staying warm without leaving the suit, so I'm confident again that I won't be shaking at 25 and 30 feet. I'll be reporting back after my first free dive in weeks at Lake Ouachita at Blakely Mountain Dam. I had a Dark Lightning 3mm wetsuit last year and swam like a cork. If you snorkeled I think it would be good as you wouldn't have to work as hard to stay on the water surface. But there were two downsides. At first the water got into the sleeves and ankles which I tried to avoid and yes it was cold. As a free diver you want to stay warm, but you do NOT want to work yourself to death trying to swim 15 or 20 feet. The Dark Lightning suit bored me because when I got to the bottom of the lake I ran out of air to enjoy the dive because I was pedaling so hard to not float back up. O'Neill's reviews say the suit isn't very buoyant, which would also be a huge plus if that's true. Also, I'll hopefully take a trip to Beaver Lake to their dive park this year, and the reviews already say the water is a lot colder than most lakes in Arkansas, but there's a lot to see. I promise to update my review after my first successful outing in my new O'Neill wetsuit. For reference, I'm 5'11" and 170 lbs. and I ordered a regular size M with a perfect fit.
