The product does not work in my Broan kitchen exhaust hood

The product does not work in my Broan kitchen exhaust hood. I was replacing 12v G4 halogen bulbs with these 12V G4 LEDs (for energy savings). Unfortunately, the LEDs would only light for about 30 seconds before turning off. If I turned the power off, then back on, I got the same results. Tried others from the same box and only lit for a second.I'm no expert, but could there be a faulty thermal cutout in the LED driver circuit that is turning the lights off after such a short time?Fortunately, these bulbs were inexpensive so not much money was lost. I am disappointed though that they would not work in this situation.
