The seller has stated that the mount can support approximately 2 kg (4.4 lbs) of weight. It's more like 1.5 kilos. Structural elements and locking screws are too light to support more weight. Tightening the lock nut on the first one they sent me caused the bolt to slip through the bracket and it could not be tightened again. The 1/4 inch camera mounting screw on this unit was also too short, making the parts mounted on the bracket not secure enough. Revain replaced it and the second example has an appropriate length mounting screw. I limited myself to lighter cameras, so the lock nut didn't have to be tightened so tight that the screw didn't slip. Generally acceptable. Not great but okay.
