The barbed fitting threads require Teflon tape and plenty of torque to prevent leakage. Maybe it would be fine as a power steering cooler, but as a transmission cooler it would fail completely. My Grand Cherokee had an overheat alarm in stop-and-go traffic. I now have transmission slippage thanks to this overrated device. I have followed the airflow instructions but this unit is not performing as advertised.
