Review on HyperX Alloy Origins – Software-Controlled Light & Macro Customization, Compact Form Factor – Tactile HyperX Aqua Switch by Mei Zhou ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not exactly the product that I wanted, the price and quality do not match.

My first mechanical keyboard, as for the hardware, I have no complaints. The buttons are responsive and pleasant to type on. Loved the design, heavy and durable. But the software jambs outweighed, the software is very bad, the hot buttons for switching profiles do not work with it. Some effects work with a catastrophic delay or do not work at all. Sometimes there was a reset of profiles when the system was booted (rarely, but it happened). It would seem that it is not essential, well, the rgb modes do not work correctly, but I think in the clave for such a price everything should be much better. You can get it cheaper too. I took it back to the store and bought another one.

Pros
  • Heavy, beautiful, responsive buttons, nice to type, full size.
Cons
  • Software, price (with such a number of jambs)
