I usually find good Adidas socks that have more cushioning than cheaper pairs. But I tend to wear down the floor and eventually wear out (faster than anything else). I was playing about 2 hours a day, 3-4 days a week before Covid closed most places to play (now it's once or twice a week). These socks are still holding up (I'm trying to rotate them evenly). That's a good thing with different colors; the opportunity to find out which pair I was wearing (which will be no different for you when you buy socks of different colors). Given the game volume wasn't the same I'll update this if anything changes, but so far I'm very happy with the feel, moisture wicking and durability. Personally I wouldn't pick colors (it wasn't a tie for me) but as I said it at least allows me to alternate them evenly.
