Used to dampen the terrible noise vibration on the rear plastic platform with many nooks and crannies and cracks. Worked great, glue worked great, cut easily. After roasting it in the sun for a few hours, it got even better! It has a slight odor which is due to the chemicals that make up the item. Nothing that won't dissolve, I'm sensitive to smells/flavors and it was a low odor product when I installed it. I aired it a few days before installing it. I would recommend creating at least two layers for problem areas. I was able to cover my back deck (Buick Park Avenue) over 80% with two coats and still had a sheet and a half left from the 10 sqft pack. The black coating on the aluminum layer doesn't come off easily, and I didn't manage to scratch it during the installation and alignment process. Very happy with the results and the ability to cut with scissors for quick installation as there were leading edges on all 4 sides to allow the sheets to be peeled off without damaging the part of the panel you are trying to tear off , keep. The product was installed on 7/22/17. So if anything changes, which I doubt based on the reviews, this thing just won't peel off like other sound absorbing adhesives that fall off with heat, I'll update. The fact that it worked better after warming up in the sun suggests it really stuck and I don't expect any failures. The seller replied very quickly and in detail. It is obvious that they are passionate about their work and their product. At this point I would unreservedly recommend this product to more expensive competitors.
