These bits are pretty much what you pay for. I was using a few on red oak for the first time and the first few cuts were perfect. However, after the first pair, they quickly became dull and chipped the wood. These are good bits for softer woods like pine or perch, but if you work hardwoods a lot I might look elsewhere.
