Review on BougeRV 7 Way Trailer Plug: Weatherproof Wiring Harness with Junction Box for RV Trailers, Campers, Caravans, and Food Trucks - Enclosed Trailer Accessories by Edwin Black

It's been a long time since I bought this product and today I'm finally installing it. Overall it makes a solid impression. My big complaint is why it is so difficult to get the wire colors to not match the standard trailer wire colors. I've been racking my brains and tearing things apart for matching every color in the box so my headlights must be the problem right? nope First I had to mount in a different location than my old one because apparently my old one was over 8ft long. Once I installed it and started connecting all my cables, I couldn't see the normally difficult to read labeling inside the box. Luckily, after pondering why my brand new headlights with brand new wires weren't working properly with my new box, I found my test bulb and that's when I noticed green turning to brown, brown turning to green, and yellow turning to red. . Makes no sense but the box is actually labeled that way based on which color does what of the fork, not the standard yellow L curve/stop, green R curve/stop and brown for running lights. Anyway, that's my swear word and the reason I'm not giving 5 stars. I hope this saves someone some headaches.
