Bought to replace a unit that had been used for years and was completely worn out. Use it to finish Godin's wood burning fireplace door. This glove looked exactly like the one we had before, but it burned through in just a few weeks. (See photo) I believe this glove was designed to work at lower temperatures and is excellent for working with stove top cookware, oven racks etc. We will be replacing it with another glove with a higher heat resistance. 3 stars because of the short lifespan. Would have given 5 stars - if used in the kitchen for less extreme thermal protection - as the seller shipped very quickly.
