The included "wrench" is junk and totally useless as other reviewers point out. This is a soft metal that bends/distorts easily, allowing the shaft to rotate when you unscrew the drive knob. (It will take you a few seconds to realize this is happening since you can't see it. It's a bit useful to use as a base to protect the base of the blender if you have a screwdriver or crowbar use it to pry off the old drive handle.
