Have been using this filter and funnel combo for three months now, enough time to get used to how it works. The item arrived with black residue from the factory, some of which were quite persistent and required extensive cleaning. It does the job of filtering, but there are times when the threaded sections don't align properly, leading to wasted time and frustration. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason when it happens. It's also not consistent in its filtering. Sometimes the milk flows well and sometimes very slowly. It doesn't appear to be related to the orientation of the filter media or the amount of debris in the milk. In short, it's better than nothing, but a higher quality product is likely to be easier to use.
