We love this filter, nice and strong. Very well done. If I were milking a cow I would order a big one, but this one is perfect for a gallon and all. I will definitely order from this company again. Support small farms.

it was great. I used a reusable coffee filter, but it filters finer, but not too slowly, like a disposable coffee filter. I removed the side handle to put in the bucket when milking. The rim sits perfectly on the rim of my 1 gallon Lindy pail leaving no gap preventing dirt or hair from getting into the milk. I'd rather leave things first than filter them later, although I filter them the second time they hit the glass just to be sure.

Have been using this filter and funnel combo for three months now, enough time to get used to how it works. The item arrived with black residue from the factory, some of which were quite persistent and required extensive cleaning. It does the job of filtering, but there are times when the threaded sections don't align properly, leading to wasted time and frustration. I had very high expectations for this item. So far I've used cheesecloth wrapped in a colander to filter raw sheep's milk. I bought this product hoping it would make this process easier, but I'm not sure if it does. The funnel is very small (about the size of a large coffee cup) and after about 1 liter of milk has gone through, the flow becomes so slow that I have to change the filter, which is time consuming and messy.
