Review on USTEPS Triangular Telescoping Ladder 11 5Ft by Ryan Foles

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good stable ladder if you figured it out

In general I like the ladder. It is definitely more transportable than my "big" extension ladder. I will mainly use it to get better access to the sides of my RV. I like that there are nice rubberized tabs at the top that protect my camper's paintwork. from scratches. Once you figure out how to do it (and how not), deploying and retracting becomes smooth and easy. As with many products designed, manufactured and documented outside of the USA, instructions are VERY lacking. First, the "manual" is printed on the box. Not great if, like me, you want an easy-to-keep copy of the manual. So I searched the entire box on the company's website to find the online manual. There is no website on the package. He cites a general stair safety website, but not YOUR website. However, I found the company's website with a little internet search. A PDF manual can be found and downloaded. For those who love printed instructions in plain language with illustrations, keep in mind that the company follows the IKEA model and uses quirky little pictograms. After studying the pictograms and trying the device a bit, you will understand everything. I found a video on their website that shows it in action well. By the way, in English "Open to full height" should be "Open to full height". Now all disclaimers including all warnings. Death, Chaos, and Many Paths They Are Not Responsible for are written in easy-to-read English, but are not actual instructions. All of this is to say don't let their poorly documented product put you off from buying and using it. This is indeed a very beautiful staircase. Just be ready to clear it up and do a documentation search.
