I've had this router for almost a year and it still works. The router has a wireless option and 4 wired ports. Initially it was a bit difficult to set up the router considering the security measures, but after some effort it worked. And don't expect Netgear to help with any aspect of the router. The reference documents are outdated and completely meaningless. You can find more information about the router on the Internet, not on the Netgears support site. The WLAN connection is a bit sluggish at times and after about 5 months of use, the connection keeps dropping. The wired connection is good and offers a constant connection for a long time, but I noticed late that it also resists internet connections. Netgear's solution of disabling everything and rebooting didn't work. My observation is that sometimes the router gets hot and something inside tells it not to allow any connections. I turned off the router, let it cool down and tried to connect again and everything was back to normal. Since then I've used this trick to get back into the cyber world. If you are a home user and have a little patience to search the web for problems or try your own knowledge, this router is for you.
