This is a compact system that makes an impression. Perfect for a playroom or a living room in an apartment. I've decided to ditch the soundbar and try a 5.1 system. I was very surprised by the quality. Movies come alive, day and night are better. I wish I had heard about it sooner. This is called the Wisa system and it works with these new LGs. Starting takes about 5 minutes. Connect each speaker to the wall. Go to your LG TV settings and search for Wisa speakers and you're good to go. It comes with an Axiim link that has an app that can be used to control the volume or adjust the speaker settings. Remote rating 5* for Axiim part. Platinum speakers do not have a remote control that you use with the app. Glad I took the risk. Pleased with this combination of platinum and axiim
