I didn't even wait till I got it home before I gave it a shot. When they cooked toast for the first time, there was an odor that was not particularly nice. The odor vanished after the second and subsequent occasions that it was experienced. I didn't immediately understand how the timer works, but it just takes two minutes for the bread to become browned and crispy. Takes roughly a minute to get hot. In the not too distant future, we intend to test out this particular brand. In addition, the seller was kind enough to include a charming magnet in the package.
