I bought these because my family keeps the router in a closet and doesn't want it outside. The Orbi was originally placed on a shelf in a cupboard on the stairs, so it's central, surrounded only by walls and "junk". My MIL was always holding stuff around the router and noticed that the signal gets weaker outside (satellite was up) and the speed is a bit slower there. So I ordered this wall mount and elevated it higher from all the other cables and "junk" in the closet and so far it has helped keep the signal clear and at a steady rate. Perfect for your needs. A bit pricey for one, but getting two packs will drop the average price by a few bucks. Since it's made for a standard sized bullet, there's some wiggle room, but nothing to worry about.
