Rubber lining - unpainted
I love these hooks and have used them for a variety of things. They seem strong enough to hold just about anything the substrate can hold (if a wall can hold a hook, the hook can hold an object). Just remember that they are covered in rubber and the rubber can "slip" to the end of the hook (but can be coaxed back quite easily) by manipulating the hook to drive it into the wall. Screwing them in with pliers will damage the rubber. I would recommend drilling a small pilot hole so pliers are not needed. All in all nice hooks that get the job done.
