We use this playground for different scenarios. We mainly use it to separate the living room from the rest of the house and it works well for that. I also took it apart to lock off our kitchen when I'm in and the little one wants to be around. I also made a freestanding playground out of it. The only downside is that you have to mount it on stands in the wall. In our living room, this was difficult due to the way we wanted to set up the barrier. For now we've come up with another solution, but maybe someday we'll finally put it on the wall. I will say that it may take some time to get used to putting the sections together, but you will learn.
