I bought an Autel Maxi AP200 key and downloaded all the necessary software for the car, with it the software works. REVIEW: As advertised, the software worked well and followed all the necessary steps to program my car. ADVANTAGES: The GUI with many different devices makes the dongle and software very attractive and easy to use. The cost of keys and software also makes it attractive. a very attractive device for the average consumer to buy and use your product. NEGATIVES / IMPROVEMENTS: The size of the software is too large - more than 1GB for many vehicle types and models. Also, downloading more than one software package complicates the installation process. There has to be a streamlined approach. I had to download three (3) packages. The instructions on how to proceed with the download process should be clearer. Example: Step 1. Open Google Play Store/Apple App Store and search "Autel Maxi AP200". Step 2: Download from Google Play Store/Apple App Store. - Download the specific software for your vehicle from the Google Play Store/Apple App Store. Step 5: Go back to your device's Autel Maxi AP200 app and select your vehicle model on the 'Diagnostics' or 'Service' tab to start diagnosing or servicing your vehicle. These steps should be clearly stated both on the packaging and in the instructions and/or built into the programming process of your dongle. The consumer has to calculate all this himself. In addition, the key is tied to a specific serial number and email address; looks like it is hard coded and registered with your servers; making it impossible to change email addresses. Last but not least, your main company (Autel) seems to have little control over the few vendors (retailers) who buy your device and resell your key on Revain and other sites. If they resell keys for returned items or defective keys; Hardcoding makes the key unusable. Most consumers seem to remain in the dark and unaware of this fact. However, I purchased two (2) keys, one from Motorzone and the other directly from your store. The "Motorzone" AP200 key was NOT working as advertised and froze after binding. The key was not launched in the GUI menu and provides the user with the required functionality. Recommended Solution: If you have a consistent customer base and want to drive down profits while maintaining high visibility of your business, you need to create and program an opportunity. for users to DELETE their purchased key binding feature. Also, it most likely means that you need to allow DELETING the servers that log all keys, emails, and user information so that users can have a better user experience. resorting to buying an additional key, using additional generated emails and going through a lengthy process to try and get everything working.
