This rosin must be hard. It is a natural pine rosin that hardens. It's really great for soldering. It's great for keeping handpieces in top condition. I also use this for my wood burning tips although not for its intended purpose but I have found that when I use it on my tips it helps the tips move through the wood more smoothly and keeps them fresh. Makes them last longer. It goes without saying that this rosin must be solid in the container. This is the best natural rosin I have found and used! There are no additives to burn out and cause disease. What more can you ask for? I would recommend it to anyone involved in soldering and wood burning.
