The safe is not fire/waterproof. I have 3 other large safes from different OEMs and they all have the ratings listed. Also, the presence of pre-drilled mounting holes and the lack of a door seal lead me to believe this is just a regular personal safe. So, I think the list is wrong, but I'm not an expert either. UPDATE, as of 12/2021 The seller tried to trick me into changing my original rating, even though he knows that my original statement is correct. I told them I would not change my rating unless they change their listing by removing the fire/water resistance declaration or fixing the safe to match and sending me one of those. They stated that their manufacturers have fixed or are fixing the issues making this a safe place to be on the list. Why would I change my rating so they can sell items not listed to other people? I spent my hard earned money like others on a product that doesn't fit the bill so I will not be part of their plan to get others to buy. I don't care if they go bankrupt because of my bad rating! So I lowered my rating even further just because they were trying to bait me instead of doing the right thing! PLEASE NOTE YOU WILL NOT GET WHAT IS LISTED! Until I see evidence that they are selling items as listed I will stay away from them. If the seller reads this and gets upset, that's on you. I gave you the opportunity to fix it. DO NOT CONTACT ME UNTIL YOU FIX THIS OR IF NOT THEN NEVER!
