Review on LG BP175 Region Free Blu-ray πŸ“€ Player Bundle: Multi Region, 110-240 Volts, HDMI Cable by Tutcht Cobb

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Exactly what I needed and works fine.

I needed a relatively cheap player to play some Region B and C Blu-ray discs and had an LG Blu-ray in the past, which seems very cheap but has somehow outlived my Samsung and Toshiba players, I decided to order this one. Surprisingly the player is heavier and feels more reliable than my other LG, which was nice. It's not noticeable, but it's a Blu-ray player so it shouldn't be noticeable. Inside the box were printed instructions on how to switch between regions. You simply open the disc tray, place a disc on it and press the button for the desired region. The disc tray closes and bam, you're looking at your disc. I've switched between all regions several times with no problems and the player stays in the previously selected region until you switch it again, so you don't have to enter the region code each time, when playing a disc. since they are all coded the same. The remote control is small, but I personally prefer it just like that. Between my TV, cable box, sound system, PS4 remote and Blu-ray player, I don't need big monsters sprawling all over my couch. The seller served quickly and without problems. Now I enjoy Blu-rays from all over the world without limits. Couldn't ask for more.

Slow Blu-ray players also play DVDs, so you don't have to replace your old DVD collection. In addition, DVD upscaling offers exceptional picture quality with upscaling to 1080p via HDMI
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for older people
