Very smart solution for metal frame drawers

This is a great solution for metal frame drawers, meaning you don't need all new drawers and runners just to get the soft close feature (which can cost thousands ). The rails are plastic with rather flimsy looking springs so I'm not sure about the durability but they are economical enough that you can buy some extras to just replace the ones that are in commonly used drawers (like the cutlery drawer) be used. ) if they don't work. And the last. Some of my packages were missing screws (and one had an extra screw), but none of them had any missing parts. You can easily substitute other hardware store screws if you don't want to deal with returns. They're pretty easy to install without measuring, but there are a few tricks to make this easier: 1. Install the chains from the top down to prevent sawdust from getting into the chains and chain springs on lower mounted chains ( this can disrupt work and cause premature wear).2 . Pre-insert the screws into the rails before inserting them into the case (keep the tips flush with the back of the rail) so you can then just screw them in with a screwdriver/impact driver and not worry about that the screws fall off the bit .3. The caterpillar moves when the 1st screw is screwed into the groove (everything moves). It's easier to put the back screw in first and use the slot with the front screw to fine-tune the angle of the slide to match the lip on the drawer.4. Before inserting the drawer, pull the sliding tabs forward along the guide, otherwise the drawer will not latch properly.
