Perfect size for my second graders! Great value for the teacher budget. I'm not sure what happened when the replacement was there that day, but I suspect it wasn't used as intended. They fell apart and the beads were everywhere, I had to glue a few pieces. They fixed it, but it took patience and skill. In fact I would order again if I needed more because they are the perfect size for our tables and not as distracting and noisy as the larger traditional sizes. Of course, students prefer larger blocks - they are only selected if there are no large blocks. NOT for small children!
