Tubing doesn't plug into Connectors

I have a pump in style Medela pump, which is listed as a compatible pump for these connectors, but it does not work. The tubing does not plug into the connectors. This is frustrating because I can't return the item either. Save yourself, and just get the Medela membranes (they now have just the membranes for sale for $14).
