Need to buff to not get droplet effect

I had to use a rough nail buffer to be able to get the water to not to make tiny droplets and instead create larger puddles to see the water/pigment ratio. Initially tried toothpaste, didn’t work so don’t recommend that. While the nail buffer did get the desired effect, it does leave the palette stained a bit, which doesn’t bother me but might for some.

Pros

Great price and easier to use than more expensive ones.

Cons

The liner brush may be too small for larger paintings or details
