We've all taken up our carpets and stairs to polish our wooden boards. I bought these out of concern that my 95 lb 12 year old might slip and fall. Before she put them on, she was afraid to climb stairs. Now she walks up and down the stairs without hesitation. They'll need adjusting from time to time, but it's worth staying calm in the knowledge that she's safe (and so are the floors). So good I've just ordered a second pair in case one of the first set gets lost!
