These socks are similar to the non-slip socks you get in the hospital. They are too thin to protect your dog's paws from the heat of the Phoenix paved parking lot. They have a small piece of plastic on the bottom of the sock.

My old dog has weak legs and keeps slipping on our hardwood floors. I just put these grippy socks on her front paws and she helps her get up and walk without slipping. Did one of the latches fall off? did she eat? for the first week but once she gets used to it she loves them!
