Review on Sewing machine Janome SE 522/Sewist 525 S, white/grey by Barbara Kope ᠌

Expected more from the purchase, but not the worst option.

Disappointed. After two and a half years of daily use, I want to change to a machine with a vertical shuttle Some pros: Janome are good cars, so I bought Janome again, more modern wide work surface easy to change threads at first I sewed all fabrics well good visibility unlike Janome's more compact models relatively heavy, so it does not move much on the table when sewing Cons below: 1. the loop machine can give an unpredictable failure and make a marriage 2. slower than vertical shuttle 3. inconvenient horizontal position of the coil - the thread does not come off well, so I use a separate creel 4. the needle thread is often confused, especially stuffing the loops at the beginning of the stitch (you need to make sure that the threads are pulled at the beginning of the stitch) and, since the confusion under the needle plate, where there is no access, unlike machines with a vertical shuttle, you have to simply tear the fabric out from under paws 5. do not adjust the tension of the lower thread, as in the shuttle (and this is necessary when using a Hungarian gum) 6. the glove compartment for small items is demanding to be closed, because the bobbin paws slip under the machine body and do not allow the drawer to be pushed in 7. The needle threader works only with thick needles, which are not difficult to get into the eye anyway. I insert the thread into needles No. 60-80 with overlock tweezers.
