I missed the old school shoes I wore when I was in high school. They brought me back and were very comfortable. They look very "puffy" when first bought, unlike many older skate brands (Airwalks, Vans) which are now slimmer and less puffy. I will say that if you are not used to "crowded" shoes, you can increase the size so that the tongue does not press on the top of the foot. Also, the laces seem a bit short and difficult to tie, but I guess that comes with the ridiculousness. However, it is a very comfortable and quality shoe.
