Screw type M4. This mount fitted the back perfectly (didn't have to use any extra mounts), was easy to hang, and came with a TON of extra screws and anchor options. I needed a stud finder to find the piece of wood. Walls (mostly drywall areas) and was able to screw it right in with a drill press. For the record, I'm a female, early 20s, and I was able to figure it all out without any help. One of my favorite parts - The mount comes with a built in bubble level when I screw it to the wall. Overall it is easy to assemble and I am very happy with the result!
