Review on Midwest Homebrewing and Winemaking Supplies: 7.9 Gallon Plastic Fermentor with Lid - Perfect for Your Brewing Needs! by Nicole Parker

Shovel capacity is misleading!

Pretty good quality but a bit pricey for a bucket. However, if you are making a standard 5 gallon batch of wine, you will need 2 additional gallons of capacity in your primary fermenter. You can't get a 7- to 8-gallon bucket at Home Depot, and most trash cans aren't made of food-grade plastic. That's why I spent the extra $$. ATTENTION - this bucket is made in Canada therefore the gallon scale on the side of the bucket is in imperial gallons. 5 imperial gallons = 6.00475 US gallons, so the 5 gallon of condiment you think you're mixing won't fit in your 5 gallon recycled glass bottle. Just change your prescription to US gallons; ignore the scale on the bucket if you are not Canadian.
