No better deal on tripods and monopods

If you're an intermediate to active photographer or traveler, you'll love this monopod. It's lightweight, easy to pack, yet strong and durable. It's easy to attach at any height thanks to the secure locking sections, and the clasps are tight - they won't slip when you lean on them. I'm well over 6ft tall and it's great that my camera is so tall. The tubular construction is strong and doesn't wobble, and for added stability they've created a V-channel to guide the pleating, but this channel also adds to the strength of the structure. I carry my camera all over the world and most professional monopods are either expensive or heavy. This model gives the best of all situations. It weighs about 1 pound and easily fits in my carry-on backpack and handles accessories very easily. The bottom also has a quick twist to give you a spike or rubber foot. Yes, you can spend $180 on a good carbon fiber monopod, but I haven't found one that offers me more than this mid-range model. For your average camcorder, DSLR, or digital camera, it handles well, is balanced, and moves exceptionally well (and even includes a nice carrying case).
