Let me tell you what I love about these high waist yoga/workout shorts. The shorts have great stretch but compression in all the right places. The high waist of the shorts is double layered for more compression but also has an approximately 1 inch elastic band at the top of the shorts. I sew and design a lot myself, so look at the details. I sewed a 1 inch piece of elastic into the top but into the shorts to keep it from moving or rolling. It's so annoying! The finish on all seams is amazing, it's not just pinned and pinned and done, it's actually a more detailed process that holds up, looks and fits much better. In the photos I've included detailed shots of how the trim is at the top, as well as the hidden pocket and where the top seam covers the top edge of the elastic. The interior made with the Serger machine seems to be very well done. These shorts fit like a dream. I'm tiny, five foot four and 94 pounds. They are not transparent at all! This is so important when you are in certain positions. The last thing I want is to be in see-through shorts and spread my legs wide so my butt is in the air! I did different exercises with them to see if they were crawling or climbing in the wrong places. They stopped moving! They don't heal, and they certainly don't sneak up! The good thing is that they are absolutely comfortable! I love the hidden pocket where you can easily slip your ID and credit card, and even the side pocket if you just want to stash your phone and in my case my continuous glucose meter on the other side. Even wearing it at home helps me free my hands. The side pockets are definitely strong enough to carry your belongings. I only had two things that I felt needed improvement. The sewn-in laundry tags are made of a horrible, very scratchy material. Here they need to be cut. On the black shorts, the same scratch label actually captured by the surgical machine, the scratch label actually captured in the serger machine is folded and sewn, making it even more annoying, itchy and annoying. But overall I'm glad scissors can't fix it. That's really a lot for a high-quality product. I wish they had more colors!
