Great Kitchen Tool: Kitchen Utensils & Gadgets
I have a very old canned version of this item. The old one should be wrapped in oiled cloth to prevent rust. I was happy when I found this online. I use a coarse grater like this to quickly grate spoon-sized veggies for last minute soups, zucchini quiche, veggie rice, cheese for dips or mac and cheese, carrots for pies, potatoes for hash browns. Four stars for ease of use. just because it's not as sharp as the old version, but it's not rusty either. I can take a few minutes on Sunday to watch the game to sharpen it if needed. I will keep buying and giving as gifts.
