Fits me, the boot is quite comfortable. But when you buy these skates, replace the wheels and bearings. The wheels are very stiff and don't grip well on the street or rink, which can be important for a beginner. If you can't afford to change wheels or bearings, AT LEAST clean and lubricate the bearings. Watch the video to see the difference between original and new. I even left some space on the original bearings to give them an extra shot. That extra space didn't change much. But honestly I see the benefit of not spinning the wheels if you JUST start, but also if the bearings are too clogged they won't last as long. I also got new nylon locknuts for the wheels after reading about the wheels loosening in some other reviews. I'm on a tight budget but after spending so much money on new high quality wheels and bearings I probably should have bought better skates. I got what I paid for. They should last until I can afford better ones. Edit: I tried cleaning the bearings to keep as backups and couldn't remove the sides to clean the inside. There's probably a way to do this, but I don't have the tools to do it.
