Heats up on the benchmarks but it works well, there's a thermal pad and the aluminum case dissipates heat really well. Comes with two cables, 1*USB 3.1 A to C, 1*USB 3.1 C to C, my SSD can read 3400Mbps and write 2000Mbps and I am getting the maximum speed that the product claims! (Reading at 1030Mbps and writing at 1016Mbps) It takes only 30 seconds to copy 22GB files. My TB 3 can handle up to 20Gbps and I should have gotten double the performance but maybe the chip/cable isn't designed for it. TB3 is only USB 3.1 GEN2 but it's fast enough for me. I will use it as extended storage for PS4.
